Baseball:

Green Hope opened the week with a 5-0 win over Fuquay-Varina.  Liam Norris struck out 12 batters in five innings, and only allowed one hit.  Connor Knapp and PJ Heintz both had two RBIs in the win. Apex upended the Falcons on Wednesday.  Even though Green Hope had more hits, Apex won 4-1. Jordyn Adams drove in Kevin Pittara for the Falcons’ only run.  Green Hope followed the loss with a 5-3 win over Apex Friendship. Payton Green brought in two runs and Kohl Abrams and Liam Norris drove in one a piece.

Wednesday @ 4:30 vs Northern

Friday @ 6:30 at West Johnston

Softball:

The softball team opened the week with a 16-0 loss against Fuquay.  Green Hope followed the loss with a 7-3 loss into Apex. The Falcons ended the skid with a 7-5 victory over Apex Friendship.  Ashley Rager drove in two runs for Green Hope. Hadley Seifert, Kasey Condon, Chelsey O’Shea, Madeline Bungert, and Savannah Harrison each had an RBI.

Friday @ 6:00 at West Johnston

Men’s Lacrosse:

Green Hope opened last week with a 17-11 victory over Heritage.  They followed that with a 15-8 win over Broughton. The team is now 3-0 on the season.

Monday @ 6:00 vs St. Mark’s

Tuesday @ 6:30 vs Panther Creek

Friday @ 6:30 at Jordan

Women’s Lacrosse:

The women’s lacrosse team easily handled Riverside-Durham last week.  The Falcons won 22-5 and moved to 2-0 on the season.

Monday @ 6:30 at Middle Creek

Tuesday @ 5:00 vs Panther Creek

Friday @ 6:30 vs Jordan

Men’s Golf:

Green Hope competed in their first Tri-6 match of the season last week.  They dominated the competition, beating everytime by at least twenty strokes.  The golf team also finished second in the Anderson Creek Elite Invitational. Jack Massei and Chris Kim shot a 73 and 74, respectively.

Friday @ 12:00 in Neuse Invitational

Indoor Track:

The Green Hope Indoor Track team competed in the New Balance Indoor Nationals.  The women’s 4×400 relay team, consisting of Lily Redick, Jordyn Parks, Lindsey Eastwood, and Taylor Brown, placed 14th in the country.  The men’s 4×800 relay team, consisting of Ares Epps, Matthew Kehn, Sean Petersen, and Ian Delgado, broke the state record and finished second in the country and earned themselves All-American status.  Delgado, also, placed second in the country in the 800.

Women’s Soccer:

The women’s soccer team tied Apex to open their week last week.  Bridget Barrett and Catherine Holbrook scored the two goals for the Falcons.  Green Hope responded with their first win of the season, 2-1 over Holly Springs.   Anna Bevan and Catherine Holbrook scored the goals for Green Hope. The Falcons are now 1-0-2 for the season.

Wednesday @ 6:30 at Fuquay-Varina
