Yesterday the varsity softball team dismantled Leesville Road by the tune of 12-1, mercy ruling the Lions once they got up by 10 runs after 5 innings.  The game had stellar pitching by Senior Katlyn Ellard who only allowed the opponents to a .143 batting average and a .200 on base percentage.  The game wasn’t only won by the defense, however, the offense had a stellar showing putting up 12 runs in only 5 innings.  Sophomore Savannah Harrison had a perfect 1.000 batting average, getting on base each time she was on the plate.  She scored 2 runs and had 1 RBI and even stole a base.  Senior Emily Wynne also had a great day at the plate, batting .750 with 2 runs and an RBI, and stole a base as well.  Freshman Katie Asbill stole the show though with a homerun and had 3 RBIs.  This was a great showing for the Falcons, and they look to continue this type of play in their next game tomorrow at 4:00 against Middle Creek.  Good luck to the Lady Falcons!
