The Green Hope baseball team defeated Leesville Road last night 12-5.  The Falcons have won 6 of their last 7 games to improve their record to 7-3.  With the win, Coach Miragliuolo now has 300 wins in his coaching career.  The game was tied after the third inning, but the Falcons ended the game on a 9-2 run, including a six-run sixth inning.  Connor Knapp, Jordyn Adams, Kohl Abrams, Austen Jones, and Isaac Fisher all had at least two hits and a RBI.  Sophomore Kohl Abrams had a fantastic game going 2-3 with three runs and three RBI’s, while getting the win on the mound.  Junior Connor Knapp scored three times on 3-4 hitting with three RBI’s and three stolen bases.  Jordan Montgomery pitched the last 1.2 innings to get the save.  The win puts the Falcons in second place in the SWAC.  Green Hope’s next game is on Friday at home vs Middle Creek at 6:00 PM.  Come out and support.
