Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

Fall is halfway through, and people are starting to lose the pumpkin fever. Slow down. Pumpkins are still in season. Get them while you can. These Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins will get you back in the pumpkin spirit.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cup white sugar
  • ¼ cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • ¾ cup canned muffins
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • ½ cup semisweet chocolate chips

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F
  2. Grease pan for the muffins
  3. Mix the sugar, oil, eggs.
  4. Add the canned pumpkin and water.
  5. In separate bowl mix together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, spices and salt.
  6. Add the wet mixture to the dry and then mix in the chocolate chips.
  7. Fill muffins cups.
  8. Bake in oven for about 20-25 minutes.
