The men’s baseball team clinched a share of the SWAC Conference title for the third straight year yesterday with an impressive 2-0 conference victory over Middle Creek at home. Senior Mitch Spence pitched a two hit shutout on Wednesday, that included nine strikeouts. Sophomore Connor Knapp went 2-3 yesterday and scored both runs for the Falcons. Knapp was brought home behind the bats of senior Drew Hegeman and junior Austen Jones, who both knocked in one RBI respectively. Green Hope will look to make it eight straight wins this afternoon when they host Athens Drive in the final regular season game of the season at 6PM.
