Green Hope’s Science Olympiad Club allows students to study the diverse fields of science, technology, engineering, and math in a friendly environment.

Club members compete against other high school Science Olympiad teams in events involving components of STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math). The activities require members to study a topic and construct a product that teaches participants about engineering. In some events, students are expected to bring their products to a competition; others require students to create a lab report or take a test about a specific field.

Green Hope’s Science Olympiad Club has been invited to the state competition multiple times; the team and the club’s individual members have won multiple medals in various rankings. The club’s staff advisor is Mr. McQuiston, and he can be found in Mod 3 Room 1. Meetings are held in Mod 3 Room 1 during the first half of lunch every Friday.
