Moving to a new school can be difficult.  Moving to a new country is something completely different.  At Green Hope there are many exchange students who have done just that.  Some might not understand the drastic change going to a high school in another country is, so some of Green Hope’s exchange students tell us the biggest differences between Green Hope and their old high schools.

Where are you from?

Spain

What is your first language?

Spanish and Basque

What at green hope is most different from your old school?

Green Hope is so much bigger than my old school. In Spain we have the same classmates all the time because we don’t move to change classrooms.

What is your favorite thing about Green Hope?

The wide variety of classes. In Spain, we have like 10 different options in which we choose 4, and the rest of the classes are school required.

What is your least favorite thing about Green Hope?

Too many students, and short breaks.

What is your favorite class so far?

Biology

What is one bucket list item you want to complete while in America?

I want to go to a sporting event in America.
