The Green Hope golf team, who dominated the Tri-6 all season, won the Tri-6 Conference Championship on Monday.  Green Hope won every Tri-6 match this season in a landslide and the 18-hole conference championship was the same story.  Chris Kim led the way, firing 35s on both the front and back nine. Senior Jack Massei got off to a slow start, shooting a 39 on the front, but responded by matching Kim’s 35.  Here is everyone’s scores from the match:

Chris Kim: 35-35-70

Jack Massei: 39-35-74

Carter Massengill: 37-39-76

Carter Boulia: 37-40-77

Tyler Owens: 39-40-79

Alex Huml: 38-44-82

Kim’s play in the Conference Championship earned him the honor of Tri-6 Men’s Golfer of the Year.  Massei and Boulia received 1st Team All-Conference honors. Huml and Massengill were chosen as 2nd Team All-Conference.  Coach Mike Robinson was also named Tri-6 Coach of the Year. The Falcons now look forward to the Regional and State competitions, where they placed 2nd in North Carolina last year.
