Baseball:

The Green Hope baseball team followed up Spring Break by winning two of their three games last week.  They opened with a 13-4 win over Athens Drive. Kevin Pitarra went 2-3 in the game and drove in a run.  The Falcons then routed Northern Durham 15-0. Pitarra and Liam McHale drove in four runs apiece and Connor Knapp and Joseph Nunn drove in two runs.  Green Hope ended the week with a 7-6 loss against Athens Drive. The Falcons are now 13-4 on the season and tied for second place in the Tri-6.

Tuesday @ 6:00 vs Riverside-Durham

Friday @ 6:00 at Riverside-Durham

Softball:

Following Spring Break, the softball team has won every game they’ve played.  On Tuesday, the softball team pulled out a 3-2 win over Athens Drive. They followed that up with a 15-9 win over Athens Drive.  Ashley Rager led the team in both wins. The Falcons are now on a three-game winning streak.

The Week Ahead:

Tuesday @ 4:00 vs Riverside-Durham

Wednesday @ 4:30 at Apex

Thursday @ 6:00 at Riverside-Durham

Men’s Lacrosse:

Green Hope lacrosse lost their first game of the season last week, falling 9-6 to Apex.  They were able to respond by knocking off Riverside two days later.

The Week Ahead:

Thursday @ 6:00 vs Middle Creek

Friday @ 6:30 vs Jordan

Saturday @ 6:30 at Panther Creek

Women’s Lacrosse:

The women’s lacrosse team lost their first two games after Spring Break.  East Chapel Hill and Apex beat the Falcons 16-10 and 15-5, respectively. The were able to respond by beating Riverside 18-7.  Meghan O’Mara scored four goals in the Green Hope win.

Friday @ 6:30 at Jordan

Saturday @ 2:45 at Panther Creek

Men’s Golf:

Green Hope, yet again, won a Tri-6 match.  This one was hosted by Athens Drive and the Falcons collectively shot a 152.

Tuesday @ 3:00 at Riverside-Durham in Tri-6 Match #6

Wednesday @ Pinecrest High School Invitational at Pinehurst #8

Women’s Soccer:

Since returning from Spring Break, Green Hope has outscored their opponents 14-1.  They opened last week with a 7-0 win over Riverside. Anna Bevan scored two goals in the rout.  The Falcons then defeated Jordan 6-1. Green Hope ended the week by pulling out a 1-0 win over Middle Creek.  Kacie Mollin scored the only goal in the win.

Wednesday @ 7:00 vs Cary

Friday @ 7:00 at Pinecrest

Saturday @ 7:00 at Panther Creek

Men’s Tennis:

Green Hope defeated Athens Drive 7-2 in their first match since Spring Break.  Despite losing two individual matches, both were in a tiebreaker. The Falcons then demolished Riverside, 9-0.  Green Hope is still undefeated as they head into the homestretch.

Wednesday @ 3:30 vs Panther Creek
