Friday night marked the first quad game held at Green Hope this season. The women started off the night right with a 56-49 win. The Lady Falcons were led by Nia Washington and Catherine Holbrook. The team has overcome several setbacks due to the injury of Morgan Vulpis who is an exceptional sharp-shooter. The night was also special due to a pre-game ceremony honoring of Nia Washington reaching 1,000 points for Green Hope. She is currently at over 1,200 in her career.

The men finished off the Imps with a 61-53 win later on in the night. Green hope was led by Ryan “Shaffman” Shaffer  who had 20 points, 7 rebounds, and 2 assists. Shaffer has had an extremely good season to this point and has a good chance to win the conference player of the year. This win means that the men are undefeated in conference play. The next game for both teams is against Athens Drive on Tuesday, January 30th. The men will be at Athens Drive and women will be home.
