Interview with Coach Regan:

What made you want to come and coach at Green Hope?

“Green Hope is an athletic powerhouse and I’m excited to be a part of this esteemed athletic program.”

How is swimming a unique sport to coach?

“Its unique in the fact that it is a team sport, but it is based on individual achievements. And you can’t breathe.”

What do you think will be the key to having a successful season?

“Getting the most out of both our club swimmers, as well as, our seasonal swimmers.”

What do you feel is the biggest strength the team has?

“Our depth, we have a lot of swimmers, and they can all compete.”

Who will be the key contributors to the team this season?

“We have several strong seniors including Conor Dalbo and John Healy. But also have a lot of speed in our underclassmen like Michael Ivey and Mitch Curlee. As for the girls, I’m excited to see the speed from Lauren Medlin and Rebecca Ssengonzi.”

What do you think you can change about the Green Hope swimming program?

“My goal is to make every practice competitive, and I’m adding a strength training program to get the most of our athletes.”
