Just because Halloween is over, it doesn’t mean you don’t need to check out this spooky brownie recipe. These homemade brownies are quick to make and delicious to eat. Pairing them with cream cheese frosting makes them even yummier. If you wanna make a spooky treat, these are the brownies for you.

Recipe adapted from tastykitchen

  • ¼ teaspoons Salt
  • ¼ teaspoons Baking Soda
  • ⅓ cups Butter- No substitutions
  • 2 Tablespoons Milk
  • ¾ cups Sugar
  • 2 cups Milk Chocolate Chips
  • 2 Whole Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla
  • 1 cup of Cream Cheese Frosting
  • 48 Candy Eyeballs

Preparation

  1. Combine flour, salt, and baking soda. Set aside.
  2. Melt the butter, milk, and sugar over medium-low heat, stirring continuously. When just to a boil, remove from heat and immediately stir in 1 cup of the milk chocolate chips.
  3. Transfer chocolate mixture to a large bowl and stir in the eggs, one at a time.
  4. Stir in vanilla and flour mixture
  5. Fold in remaining cup of chocolate chips.
  6. Pour batter into a greased 9×9 pan.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes at 325 degrees.
  8. Let brownies cool for 25 minutes.
  9. Spoon frosting into a large resealable plastic bag; seal bag. Cut very small tip from one corner of a bag. Squeeze bag to pipe frosting over brownie in zigzag motion for mummy wrapping. Attach two eyeballs to each brownie.
