The Lady Falcons fell to Hoggard on Friday in the fourth round of playoffs.  Hoggard took the lead in the first half, and were ahead for most of the game.  With four minutes left in the game, Taylor Cammarata scored from about 35 yards out to tie the game.  The game finished 1-1 and moved into overtime.  After two ten-minute halves, the game was still tied 1-1.  The next OT was two five-minute Golden Goal halves, and with a few opportunities, the Falcons were not able to get the ball in the goal.  Finally the game went to penalty kicks, and Hoggard escaped with the win.

Despite this single loss, the Falcons had an amazing season.  The girls finished 23-1 overall and 16-0 in conference, which is the best the team has done since the 2017 class started at Green Hope.  Grace Wagner won SWAC player of the year, and she was first in conference for goals, assists and points.  Lilly Dunn was ranked the best goalie in the SWAC.  Taylor Cammarata, Bailey Petersen and Izzy Brown were awarded first team all conference.  Lilly Dunn made second team all conference, and Kacie Mollin and Audrey Cooke received honorable mentions.  Congratulations on an amazing season!
